Speaking & Facilitation

The hardest changes are the ones nobody chose.

I get called after the software is bought. Usage has flattened, a few people are carrying the whole thing, and someone is asking whether the money was worth it.

Most of my work right now is AI adoption. The method is older than that and it transfers. Mergers, restructures, system rollouts, anywhere a workforce is being moved somewhere it did not ask to go.

Paul Tonden speaking to an audience

Three programs

The Adoption Stall

For organizations twelve to twenty-four months past deployment, where usage plateaued and the budget is under review.

Full day, working session

AI Literacy for Leaders

For leadership teams who bought the licenses and cannot yet say what changed.

Ninety minutes to a half day

Human-Centered AI: Ethics and Guardrails

For executives, boards, and whoever got handed AI policy on top of their real job.

Half day

I also facilitate The Leadership Game, a licensed Maxwell Leadership experience that only certified facilitators can run. Two to three hours with an intact team, structured to get senior people answering honestly in front of each other. It runs on its own or opens a longer engagement.

All of it runs as a keynote, a workshop, or a closed executive session. Custom design is normal rather than an upcharge conversation.

Not for

First introductions to AI. Other people do that well. My work starts after deployment, once the honest questions have surfaced.

Where this comes from

Canon Financial Services, a human-centered AI leadership program for the executive team and full corporate staff, about a dozen sessions. An estate sale franchise I own and run, where I built the AI infrastructure and then had to fix it in public. A doctorate in progress at Capella University on how mid-level leaders in retail and commercial banking prepare their people for AI.

Sixteen years developing leaders, ten of them at enterprise scale inside a publicly traded education company, five in Corporate Human Resources under a VP of Talent.

Maxwell Leadership-certified coach, speaker, and trainer. Licensed facilitator of The Leadership Game. Maxwell DISC certified consultant. HBDI practitioner. Orlando-based, available nationally.

Investment

On-site engagements start at $7,500.

Virtual sessions start at $3,500.

Quarterly and multi-session work is scoped against what you are trying to move.

Or introduce me to a room that has this problem. That is how most of this work has found me, and it produces better engagements than a search result does.
